Defense Acquisition University was recently recognized as Corporate University of the Year for North America at the Corporate University Best-in-Class (CUBIC) awards ceremony.
As part of Corporate Learning Week 2015, this annual event honors, recognizes, and promotes learning organizations and corporate universities that set standards of excellence in a variety of categories relating to performance and results. Winners are recognized for their unique achievements and contributions to individual and organizational productivity. Past CUBIC award recipients include Fortune 500 companies, global organizations, non-profits, and governmental training groups.
Additionally, DAU President James P. Woolsey was named runner-up Learning Leader of the Year. This award recognizes leaders who have played a strategic role in determining how learning is driven and integrated throughout the enterprise. Awardees have led teams that develop innovative programs, especially those that align learning and design with corporate goals, and represent many of the largest corporations in the world.
